SUMMER 2013 CON REPORT

Here have some EVA feels 

Hello again! Spark here bringing you our summer con report! It has been a VERY busy summer for us and we've traveled a lot these past three months! Here we go!

1. Fanime 2013 (San Jose) [May] 

• We competed in masquerade at this one with "Sailor Avengers" (minus our Sailor Hawkeye! D:) 
• Cosplay series included: Sailor Avengers, Adventure Time, Legend of Korra, Assassin's Creed, League of Legends 
• Lots of waiting and loitering around, but hey at least we got lots of Psycho Donuts and McDonald's together!   

Casual day of cosplay that was a TON OF FUN!!

2. ANIME EXPO 2013 (Los Angeles) [July]  

Sailor slumber party!

• ROAD TRIP TIME!!!!!!!!! Thanks to Kagelump for doing most of the planning and getting everyone settled!
• Lots of photoshoot fun with Sailor Avengers and Evangelion alike! A great bonding experience with everyone who attended (sadly did not include me as my schedule conflicted T_T) 
• Cosplay series included: Sailor Avengers, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Ouran High Host Club, League of Legend, The Legend of Korra, Assassin's Creed 

Best way to beat the heat? Why not some old fashioned ice cream?

3. COMIC CON 2013 (San Diego) [July]  

• Terracanta and Whyming made the trip down and camped out for the LoK panel, which was totally worth it!

THEY ALSO SAW THE AGENTS OF SHIELD PANEL!!!!

Just some handsome assassin and pirate captain action 

BOLIN WILL BRING YOU JUSTICE!

4. J-POP SUMMIT 2013 (San Francisco) [July]  

• Dazz and Spark were finalist in the Vocaloid Group Dance competition and got to compete! 
• About 50% of the pocky eating contestants were from our group xD 
• Just a relaxing day in Japantown enjoying the cool SF fog
• BEAN WAS CRAZY AND MADE THE PONPONPON! LEN COSPLAY IN LITTLE OVER A WEEK
• Cosplay series included: PonPonPon! Len (Vocaloid), Vocaloid, The Legend of Korra 

5. KINOTKI-CON (Sacramento) [July] 

• Terracanta attended to support Yuumei, who is a featured artist at that convention!
• Since it was the same weekend as J-Pop Summit, many of us couldn't attend D: 

6. JAPAN EXPO 2013 (Santa Clara) [August] 

• Probably THE most enjoyable convention I have attended all summer! (I'm biased though since Terracanta actually attended all the conventions mentioned so far xD)
• Met lots of cool artists and cosplayers, and scored a BUNCH of free swag! 
• ALSO GOT TO MEET FAMOUS ARTISTS INCLUDING SADAMOTO (Evangelion!) SO COOL
• Terracanta and Spark decided to last minute join SUNDAY MASQUERADE and won COSPLAY LAUREATE!!! (Wushu! Because We Can!) We also managed to pull Bean into it as Shinji 
• Cosplay series included: Ao no Exorcist, Vocaloid, Assassin's Creed 3, "Attack on Titan", Bleach, The World Ends with You

6. SAC-ANIME 2013 (Sacramento) [August] 

Boyband Assassins! 

• Guavi, Terracanta, Afterwinds attended this con and MAN LOOK AT ALL THEIR AMAZING COSPLAY I CAN'T EVEN THEY ARE SO AWESOME
• I am pretty sure I now ship Terracanta, Shadow-pirate, and Trixie-Hobbitz as the trio! THEY NEED TO NOW DO AN ATTACK ON TITAN TRIO AND I WILL BE GREAT
• Cosplay series included: Supernatural, Assassin's Creed, League of Legend 

OVERALL, this summer has been super productive! It's nice to take a breather and just look back at all the awesome cosplays the group (well select individuals xD) have accomplished! I am so proud of each and everyone one of them and they are super inspiring to me!!
