I'm sure most of you who've managed to make your way to this blog have already seen this photo.

This photo was taken and edited during out first ever planned - real - photo shoot. Seems all nice and shiny, right?

Aha. Haha. Hahahahahahaha.

This is what really went on that day, what the vast majority of the photos really looked like.

Since this was our first real shoot ever, none of us had any ideas how to go about it - how to pose, how to keep a serious face, how to get the camera to focus...

Yup, most definitely don't know how to pose.

Or stop smiling.

Or stop fooling around.

...Actually we never stopped doing that to this day.

Finally we manage to get in the mood...?

Nope.

I don't even know what's going on here.

Deeeeeerp.

Wardrobe malfunctions are a staple.

Apparently we need to learn how to talk in straight lines too. Ike just kept walking into Soren.

What was that about getting the correct focus?

I don't know.

Trying to get some cape-flapping (by having someone hold it up then drop it) with limited success.

Some semi-decent shots where we look like little children.

That must have been a good conversation. None of us remember what it was.

No, but there were deer.

This was definitely a learning experience. Chances are you will only get a few excellent shots during an entire shoot out of hundreds of photos; despite the fact that we didn't know what we were doing, we still managed to get a couple of good pictures.

We still need to learn to make better use of location and get more interesting interactions. (You know, if anyone has suggestions for future shoots...8D)
