Knite Shoot: Fall '10

After reading Yuumei's comics, Knite, we were both inspired and touched. Before we got together for this, Bean had asked us to "Consider what Knite means for you."

Each of us found our own meanings and reasons.

Alright, alright. That's more consecutive serious than we've ever managed. Have some of what you are probably really here for. Behind-the-scenes takes!

Lighting does not arrange itself, so it was quite a while before our photographer (who is SUPER BEAST) could configure everything to work just right. We kept our jackets on while he took test shots; it was COLD!

Do you see how amazing and well-equipped our lighting setup was? Just look at that light stand! Can't buy THAT off of eBay cheap, nope.

Did we mention it was COLD? And raining? (Although that's not what the umbrella was for. xD)

The strings of lights kept getting tangled with itself - and us.

Because it was dark out, our photographer couldn't actually see where we were through the camera - just the Christmas lights. So he had to guess where we were based off of where those lights were. He did a pretty good job with the photos' framing despite that!

We pretty much made mad dashes for our jackets as soon as actual shots were over and kept them on - even during pose-test shots.

Caitlin: Ow, what the heck did I just scrape my leg on!? A chimney?
Ryan: Oh, so that's were the toilet pipe goes.
Caitlin: 0_0 *GOING TO DIE OF TETANUS*

Light-stand ghost says hai.

"TROPICAL ISLAND, GUYS. WE'RE MELTING ON A TROPICAL ISLAND."

"BUT IT'S COOOOOOOOLD ;____;"

Sen is not pleased. OMG PEOPLE. WHAT. GEROFF.

Did I promise a horse last time? Sorry, wrong shoot. Can't exactly get one of those up on a roof. :P
